That Georgia mannequin seems a little racist to me.

So I think it's safe to say that both Georgia and Maryland had "Ugly-outs" in their games.

The Georgia uniforms were ugly. The Maryland uniforms were butt ugly. In fact, they were the worst excuse for a football uniform I have ever seen.

^^^THIS^^^

At least the Georgia ones where only one ugly uniform.  With Maryland, you got 2... 2... that's right 2... ugly uniforms for the price of 1.  I guess that makes them twice as ugly.

If you factor in expectations, Georgia takes the uniform fail award in a landslide, IMO.

Their choices where limited.  They can't wear the cool black ones any more.

Smitty said it best last night.  But I forgot how he said it.  Something about an English soccer league...

Yes, he did.  At the time he said that I hadn't flipped the TV over to the game yet, so I didn't get it.  I was still thinking they were wearing the turtle helmets.

I will give them credit...they're cutting edge.  I know they redefined my concept of an ugly uniform.

Agreed. I think the standard has been set. It will take some monumental amount of ugly to out-ugly the Terps' unis. Of course, this is a sliding scale, if you think of:

Kevin Plank a graduate of University of Maryland is CEO of Under Armour. Company stock went up .65 today. Twitter blow up.

Quote
University of Maryland makes a fashion fumble
Flashy, state-flag inspired design gets put through the ringer over sports talk radio, Twitter

Football met fashion Monday night — and it wasn't pretty.

Andy Staples of Sports Illustrated said Maryland "committed several unspeakable crimes against fashion."

LeBron James, of all people, wrote, "OH GOSH! Maryland uniforms #Ewwwww!"

Hall of Fame basketball player Bill Walton Tweeted: "Abercrombie is paying the Jersey Shore cast to NOT wear AF clothing. I hope someone pays Maryland to never wear these horrid uniforms again."

And that was just for starters. For most of the game, on Facebook, on Twitter, on people's blogs, folks went on and on and on about the uniforms and their instantaneous, visceral disgust for them.

"Of course they scored," wrote ESPN's Pat Forde, about Maryland's ultimate victory. "Miami's eyes scorched out of their heads by Terps uniforms. Brilliant move by Kevin Plank."

Why would a coach agree to allow his team to wear something like that?  Did you notice the shoes?

I know, HS. Randy Edsall was always known for running a tight ship at UConn. Those unis look like they sunk on a garbage scow.
