The most haunting voice I've ever heard. Title: Re: RIP Ralph Stanley Post by: Hannibal Lecter, MD on June 26, 2016, 05:12:08 PM My parents have had the habit of seeing at least one Grand Ole Opry show a year the past 30+ years. I've gotten to see Dr. Stanley 3 or 4 times in person. Getting to hear him do "Man of Constant Sorrow" and "O, Death" not long after the release of "O, Brother, Where Art Thou?" was a good experience.

It sounded similar. I guess that answers that.
