As a head coach, Paterno is 14-16 against the SEC.

2 Consecutive games that Alabama has held its opponent to negative rushing yards. Kent State had minus-9 rushing yards in the Crimson Tide's season-opening game last week. Michigan State had minus-48 rushing yards in its Capital One Bowl loss to Alabama to end the 2010 season.
