He's the only one that we've consistently heard was doing well in practices and scrimmages. We need that type of QB that will have that 3rd dimension of being able to run when nothing is open, instead of throwing it into coverage. Heard a lot about Bateman and Barnett throwing into coverage. That would kill us.

I just don't see it happening. I wonder if this could be a ploy by CNS to get Bateman to understand he better get it up or ride a lifelong bench. I really thought Cornwell would be the man if his injury got healed but I guess it is going to be a season ender for some reason. RTR!

He may not start but, if the starting QB (who ever he is) starts fouling up, I betcha he puts Hurts in there to see what he can do.
