Title: Baton Rouge's The Advocate Publishes Brutal Takedown of Miles, LSU
Post by: bamaphil on September 05, 2016, 04:44:37 AM
Quote
Those years are also worth mentioning because it continues to look like LSU’s passing offense is stuck in those ancient times. The Tigers ranked 105th in the FBS last year in passing yards per game. In a broad sense, this means virtually everyone in America except the service academies and LSU can effectively throw the ball.

Les is one day closer to being a coach somewhere else. RTR!

I knew Miles would never change his offense. Finebaum bought into "the change" which means he will be ripping Les to pieces on Monday.

I think Les is too loyal to his OC. He needs a change in offensive philosophy. Mike Shula was the same way with David Rader.

Imagine if Saban had never left LSU.  That would be a horror story.

It's not the OC, it's the Head Coach. He's playing the offense the HC mandates. Miles wants a run-control offense, period.

Les Miles wants to be like CNS has our team but he don't have all the staff and work horses to do it. RTR!

CNS reminds me of Paul "Bear" Bryant in that he could "...take his'n and beat your'n, and then turn around and take your'n and beat his'n."  Bum Phillips.

Course, Bum was talking about players but I believe that CNS could do the same with the coaching staff...

Maybe Les will end up at Aubrun.   :dunno:

In case you missed it, Preacher, this says Saban created the modern coaching staff.

He gone.

Wait for it.   :popcorn2:

If he loses to Bama again he won't make it to the next game.

At this point I think LSU has to win out in order for him to stay.

Farewell, Les.

If that happens, he'll join a long list of coaches that were victims of "Saban induced unemployment".

Do you think he lasts past game 6 if things don't improve? The next 5 games are:

JSU
Misses State
Goat U
Missouri
Florida

If they lose ugly to say the Barn & Florida, does he get fired? Just wondering.

 :dunno:

I guess we'll have to wait and see. A loss to MSU, the barn, or Mizzou would probably be the end whether they fire him immediately or not.

LSU was foolish to bring him back last year after they all but fired him but couldn't find the home run hire they wanted.

I think the JSU game Sat. tells if he has a chance to finish the year or not. RTR!
