Title: Tide 2017 Football Schedule-SEC Makes Huge Mistake
Post by: Marshal Dillon on September 13, 2016, 09:31:51 PM
This has to be a misprint, the Tide with 4 straight SEC HOME games, against good teams.

Alabama will not have to play two consecutive road games in 2017.

The Crimson Tide's schedule was released Tuesday on ESPN's SEC Network.

Three weeks after opening the season against Florida State in Atlanta on Sept. 2, 2017, Alabama will begin conference play against Vanderbilt.

But how many teams have a bye the week they play Bama? That's been the big disadvantage the last decade.

The aTm game, is it a home or away game? If it is a home game then that should make five consecutive home games the way I count them... If it is an away game then that just gives us three consecutive home games.    :dunno:

A&M is away. It is a typical schedule with 4 SEC road games, 1 neutral site game and 7 home games. No road games back-to-back.

That opening game against FSU could end up being a rematch of a playoff game.  We may finally have some competition for that first neutral site game.
