Post by: Marshal Dillon on September 21, 2016, 03:29:45 PM
Interesting teams, including teams like Colorado State, Fresno State, Southern Miss, and one very interesting team on our future schedules.

If motorcycle guy is still coaching at Louisville in 2018, that's a very tough start for Bama's defense.

Yeah, but at least we won't have a new starting QB.

Maybe not. His QB will be gone.

If the Aubs can manage it this time, he'll be among the Barners.
BUT doubtful; they could break a railroad spike.

I really think he stays at Louisville. Easier place to win, they took him back when NO ONE would give him the time of day, and why go to a dumpster fire?

Hurts WILL BE a junior at that time so unless he decides to transfer, not likely, then we will have a well seasoned veteran qb...

He can't leave until after his junior year, Preacher.

I recall as a condition of his employment Louisville required a long term contract, huge buyout if he leaves early, and other disincentives to him abandoning them again.

And Louisville is in the ACC now.  Much easier path to the playoffs than any SEC school.  As long as he can continue to get his recruits to come there, I expect he will stay put.

At least he can't leave for the NFL until then.
He can leave for the Mars Expedition, or Australia, or the Phi Mu house, but the NFL has rules and he's safe at Alabama until after his junior year.
