Title: 8 Potential Programs Where Alabama Assistant Lane Kiffin Could be Head Coach
Post by: Marshal Dillon on September 22, 2016, 06:50:40 PM
Interesting list. He's a West Coast guy so San Diego State & Fresno State would be perfect.

Fresno State

It’s a little known fact that Kiffin graduated from Fresno State in 1996 and started his coaching career there. Like the San Diego State job, it would allow him to move back to the West Coast where his children live.

I don't see him going to a school outside of the power 5.  :dunno:

It might be good for him to go to a low pressure school first and learn to be a head coach. I'm not sure if his ego will allow that though.

Bingo!! He's young so he could prove himself at say, Fresno State, then go on to a Pac-12 team later. He needs to stay on the West Coast.

Trouble is, he might have to take a cut in salary.
