She was sick for years before CMM moved to the La Rocha sp? nursing home. When he was still coaching he was driving home at lunch to feed and take care of her.
I imagine he has more focus on the University and his job at hand and will do fine for some time to come. In an interview with PF right after he hired CNS, sounded like he would stay 5-7 more years and retire.
