Title: Re: "Tennessee DB on Alabama QB Jalen Hurts: 'He exploited us'" Post by: Chechem on October 17, 2016, 05:56:51 AM Quote "I got on Jalen a couple times today," Saban said, "and the good thing about Jalen is that he always takes it right. And I always ask him in the locker room, 'Should I have gotten on you?' And he said, 'Yeah.' So he agrees. He made some good throws today. He missed some throws. He missed some reads. He turned the ball over twice in the first half. Once gave them a score. One took a score off the board for us right before the half. But he's getting better every week. "Obviously his ability to run is something that gives defenses a lot of problems. If we can continue to improve in the passing game because of the level of skill guys that we have, I think that would be something that would make a big impact on what we can do offensively." Really? ??? Title: Re: "Tennessee DB on Alabama QB Jalen Hurts: 'He exploited us'" Post by: ricky023 on October 17, 2016, 01:11:45 PM I will tell you one thing, this young man has some speed. Tenn. defenders has the angle a couple of times and couldn't catch him. They is pretty impressive. RTR!

Fast enough; better than Greg McElroy, better than Coker; he's no Sims! :lol2: Title: Re: "Tennessee DB on Alabama QB Jalen Hurts: 'He exploited us'" Post by: ricky023 on October 18, 2016, 10:19:47 AM I will tell you one thing, this young man has some speed. RTR! Don't forget, we've got that kid from Hawaii, Tua Tagovailoa, coming in, too. I think I know why Verne's retiring this year. :lol2: Title: Re: "Tennessee DB on Alabama QB Jalen Hurts: 'He exploited us'" Post by: ricky023 on October 18, 2016, 01:31:27 PM I will tell you one thing, this young man has some speed. Title: Re: "Tennessee DB on Alabama QB Jalen Hurts: 'He exploited us'" Post by: N.AL-Tider on October 18, 2016, 08:40:25 PM One thing that it seems like everyone is missing regarding Jalen isn't just his speed or his ability to throw. He is a great qb and is helping our offense tremendously. However, I feel that he is also helping our defense an enormous amount too. They practice against him which gives them the chance to learn how to contain/beat other dual-threat qbs that we might face down the road. I'm starting to think that this team is special, VERY SPECIAL. I'm also starting to feel that we have a really good chance to go undefeated and win our next NC again this year. Our beloved team won back-to-back NC's in 2011 & 2012. We won the NC in 2015 and possibly again in 2016. How many teams in the history of college football can lay claim to winning four NC's in six years? How many can lay claim to winning the NC in back-to-back years twice within one decade? Also, with Jalen running our offense I can see the distinct possibility of winning three in a row...but I don't want to get ahead of myself now... :-X
