Poised to win big, Alabama basketball coach Avery Johnson studied Saban in offseason

He is a respected basketball mind known for his work ethic, but he is still new to the college game. It's quite different than the pros, and Johnson has worked with Nick Saban to better prepare Alabama's basketball program.

Johnson even mentioned "the process" once or twice during media day, although in fairness the concepts of "process" and "grind" are widely discussed throughout the NBA. Still, Johnson sees great benefit in working with Alabama football.
