ATLANTA (AP) - Former President Jimmy Carter says he supports the Palestinians' effort to gain international recognition of their independence at the United Nations this month.
The Georgia Democrat said Tuesday he wouldn't be in favor of the Palestinians' appeal to the U.N. if the White House had "put forward any sort of comprehensive peace proposal." But he said Palestinians have few other options since no deal is in the works.

Doesn't Carter know that bho has an upcoming election to try and win and doesn't have time for nonsense such as foreign affairs or systemic unemployment.  :eyeroll:  If he is going to do anything about anything it needs to be in the few weeks before the November 2012 election, because his base doesn't remember things very well.

I would think Carter has a house to hammer on so they could give it to a demrat.

Both of them hate Israel.
