Norris has two early 3's. Archie Miller is the outstanding coach of Dayton. Braxton Key wearing the "hockey mask." When did that happen? 13-11 Dayton.

Tide has gone stone cold, no baskets in over 4 minutes. Norris hits 1/2 FT. Dayton very active around basket and quick on defense. No baskets in over 8 minutes, now. Great pass and slam by Taylor. Then great D causes Dayton turnover. 18-16 Dayton. Dayton in foul trouble.

Since I've been watching Taylor has missed 2 shots from 6 inches away.  Should have dunked both of them.  >:(

Had to step away & eat. Listened to game and we are getting plenty of shots but too many misses. 5/19 on 3 pointers, 26%. 54-53 Dayton.

Their experience and years of good coaching by Miller paid off. Our team played so well, but could not hit the 3 enough.

Hey MD what I saw in the part I watched at the hospital I think we have the core to grow this year maybe and become a young but good BB team. What do you think because I believe CAJ sees the problems and will work on fixing them. One thing I thought a failure on our parts was when Dayton would shoot the 3's they were not challenged. We have to be able to challenge that but I am sure CAJ will fix that. I still think we have a good year ahead. RTR!

These are not great stats but I still believe this team has the integrity to make a team and play their way into the Big Dance. RTR!

I think the 3 point shooting is the SOS, but the rebounding was excellent and Ingram, Key, & Collins are looking good, so far. I see more energy on the floor and the players seem to know what to do. Waiting to see more.

I did not see the game (some people have to work). What I got from the stats is that we beat them in nearly every stat except shooting percentage. That is encouraging. Defense must have been an issue in the second half because Dayton shot over 60% from the floor. Due to winning the rebounding and turnover stats we took a lot more shots... we just missed them.

Dayton was a tough game. Our team can gel and be very good. More talent on the roster than we have seen in awhile. Don't give up on the team. We are going to win a lot of games.

Hey pmull good to get ya back from all that hard work.  :D, I agree with you. I think we have some talent that is young and will do nothing but grow from here forward. RTR!

Tough game against a very good team. Our team is young and the players are still learning to play together. The biggest problem is that we still don't have anyone who can score consistently. I think they'll improve as the year goes along, but we're still a year or two away from contending for the SEC.
