L'ville fell to 11th. Aubs still at #16.

I noticed that if, only if, the CFP falls this way the osu vs michigan game settles one problem and if Washington wins out they will Represent the Pac-10 for the other place. RTR!

Penn State and Wisconsin still have something to say about it too. And Clemson will have to win the ACC championship with no other blemishes to get in. It's going to be an interesting couple of weeks.

If Ohio State beats Michigan (which I expect) & Penn State at home beats Michigan State, then Penn State plays for Big Ten Championship, not THE OSU. If Wisconsin beats mighty Minnesota, they would play Penn State for title.

If this happens, and I expect it will, OSU and the Big 10 winner are both in the playoff along with Bama and, most likely, Clemson. The two-loss Big 10 Champ would probably be #4 and therefore Bama's first round opponent.

This is the most likely scenario, IMO, too.

1. Alabama
2. OSU
3. Clemson
4. Penn St/Wisky winner

I'd be fine with that matchup.  Wasn't it Wisconsin that beat LSU the first game of the season?  I wouldn't mind giving them a bit of retribution for the Corndogs... If for no other reason, then just to show the Corndogs how to do it...

Just a crazy thought, but, what happens if we come in flat like we did last night and Florida upsets us....
 ???

In that case I'd say we would then be a #2 seed, maybe #3...

IF THIS happens, we will be out of the playoffs. Everybody knows the CFP committee will do their best to satisfy the world and keep us from having a chance to repeat. RTR!

If we beat Auburn, we will be in the playoffs, regardless of whether or not we beat UF.

As long as we don't lose both games, we are in.

In the committee's eyes it is more important for us to beat Florida than Auburn.

If we lose to the barn and win against UF we are a one loss conference champ. We are in.

If we lose to UF they are a two loss (assuming they beat FSU) conference champ with a head-to-head win against us. We may both get in but if only one team gets in it will be UF IMO.

tOSU needs to worry about Penn ST winning out. Conference champ with a head-to-head win against you. If Washington wins out I think they are in. A conference getting two teams in will be the exception not the rule. Four conference champs will be the norm IMO.
