Title: Nick Saban earns regional Coach of the Year award

On Tuesday, it was announced the Crimson Tide leader earned Regional Coach of the Year honors from the American Football Coaches Association.
According to an Alabama release, Saban received the Region 2 winner, which includes the SEC and Sun Belt conferences.
Navy’s Ken Niumatalolo (Region 1), Western Michigan’s P.J. Fleck (Region 3), West Virginia’s Dana Holgorsen (Region 4) and Colorado’s Mike MacIntyre (Region 5), were the other honorees.
The winner of the national award will be announced at a ceremony in Nashville on Jan. 10.

No mention of James E. Franklin (PSU)??  Figured he'd be a certainty.

Hey Chechem I am really wondering the same thing because, even though some really still hate them, he brought them a long way back. I think so far I've heard no words of negativity against PSU since he has been there. Their ranking was great this year. RTR!

I remember earlier this year we had a topic discussing him as possibly being fired and Les Miles as a potential replacement.
