Just got home. Game is on SEC Network. Tied 42 all but Tide had a 12 point lead. Hale hits 2. 44-42.

I was able to watch or listen to most of the game. We led at half 32-20 on strong D and Ingram, Johnson, & Key scoring. Johnson scores again and we lead 51-47.

Four players are scoring regularly, Taylor (9), Johnson (11), Key (9), & Ingram (11). Ingram has been leading the charge with Johnson.  53-46 Tide

Tide wins 68-58 at Starkville and weathered 2 strong charges by State but bounced back each time.

Good game. Road SEC wins are always big. I watched the first half before my Internet went dial-up speed and I wasn't able to follow well in the second half.  It feels like the team is starting to find an identity and play well together.  Hopefully they can keep building.   :clap: 

Yeah, it looks like they are finally developing some chemistry. It also didn't hurt that Bama was taller than MSU. I didn't get to see the whole game, but they were outrebounding them during the time I watched.

A good road win because any conference road game is difficult. Defense was solid all game. The offense struggled at times but unlike previous we had someone step up and make big shots. Norris was big in the closing minutes with an offensive rebound and put back followed by a three pointer. Ingram gave us a spark to stop the Miss St run mid way through the second half. I told Ingram had a very good game. We were very aggressive on the boards.

Very happy to get this win.

Our RPI jumped from 106 to 72 after the win.

I think we now have our starting 5-6, which helps. It's Johnson, Key, Norris, Ingram, & Taylor/Hall. Hale seems to be out of the picture.

I am glad we got an SEC win although we have some tougher games coming. I didn't see the game but I read what MD posted on the stats and I do wish we could get better from the 3-point line. If we could get in that 50% range on 3's we would be hard to handle then for sure. RTR!

This team is deeper than those of the past.  If Hale fixes his shooting woes they will be better.  Also little Avery just throws up some shots out of his butt.  One may go in every once in a while.

The biggest development over the last few games has been the emergence of Dazon Ingram. He's starting to play at the level we had been expecting.  He had 13 points, 9/10 rebounds (I think I remember that correctly), and 4 assists against MSU.  We need him to consistently put up those numbers.
