Title: great game Post by: bamalum67 on January 11, 2017, 07:47:24 AM It was a great game..Bama has nothing to hang their heads about..lost to a team that was not much better,but made then plays when it counted.
When Clemson lined up for that last pass, I saw the WRs on the right side and thought here it comes again..and BOOM! I know this is hindsight but I think they DC fell down on recognizing this. It might be borderline illegal, but I would think the Officiating team , if they are worth anything, would have been ready for this play, and since they did not call a P, I think they figured it was legal. I know in a game this big, the officials would have looked at film on both teams to be ready for plays like this.. What I want to know is why the DC did not see this on film and coach up our CBs to be ready for this play.
