Title: SUPER BOWL LI-Predictions & Comments
Post by: Marshal Dillon on February 05, 2017, 03:09:48 PM
I'm rooting for Falcons. I've ben a fan for since I was a young teenager. Randy Johnson, Harmon Wages, Cannonball Butler, Tommy Nobis. I think they win 36-31.

I picked Pats 34-31 in a group of guys from the gym.  After One qtr it looks like a lower scoring game than I expected.

Watching the Falcons able to run on the edges is very impressive. Great blocking by the WR's on the runs.

21-3 Falcons at half. A young defense has shut down the Pats running game. Go for the kill Falcons!

28-12 Falcons. Falcons need to drive the ball and score & keep Brady on the sidelines.

Why are Falcon's HC not blitzing Brady? He's picking them apart. Is this the National Championship replay where you just rush 3 or 4 let the QB pass at will?

Falcons Head Coach lost that game. He would NOT blitz Brady. WTH.

I turned it on with about 5 minutes to go.  I just wanted to see which of the Bama Boys would be getting the ring.

You missed the play by Hightower that changed the game. He came off the edge, made the RB miss his block, and hit Matt Ryan before he could throw. The ball came loose and the Pats recovered. It was all Patriots after that.

Falcons OC should be fired.  4 minutes left, Julio just had an amazing catch to put the Falcons in FG range.  A FG probably would have put the game out of reach with the time remaining, nearly as good as a TD at this point in the game.  OC calls pass play, Ryan sacked.  OC calls another pass play, 10 yd holding penalty, Falcons out of FG range.  The rest is, unfortunately, more Patriots history.   >:(

He's going to be the new head coach of the 49ers. Is that enough punishment?

I can see the fact of they needed to run the football but that 10 yard holding penalty was a Professional Football Players' fault not the coach. If he is getting paid millions of dollars to play he ought to be good enough not to hold knowing how close they was to a score. RTR!
