Title: Alabama vs Texas A&M in Basketball Saturday
Post by: Marshal Dillon on February 25, 2017, 05:45:41 PM
We play a quick turnaround game from Thursday. Will we come out throwing up a bunch of missed 3's? Game on ESPN2 @ 7 pm.

Plus, at the same time on Fox is a championship boxing match with Deontae Wilder, WBC World Champion from T-Town. The fight is in the Ham.

Good night for sports viewing with other good BB games on TV.

We seem to play better on the road. I have high hopes we will play well tonight. Roll Tide!

Amazing isn't it? When the Braves were winning games they struggled at home but coasted on the road. I just don't get it.

I haven't looked at the stats but there seemed to be a big difference in the free throw attempts for each team.

That's right.  aTm shot about 25 FT's while Bama only attempted around 7 or 8 I think...

We shot 9 free throws. A&M shot 37. 25 in the 2nd half to our 4.

We scored 13 quick points and went stone cold in the first half only scoring 19 points in the first 20 minutes. The second half was much different. A&M was cold as ice but fouls, many of them very questionable, kept bailing them out.

Scoring 55 against UGA and 53 against A&M with the season on the line is very frustrating. The exact same way we ended the season last year. I hope we right the ship in our last two regular season games. I have thought all along we would go 11-7 in SEC play and we still have a chance to do that.

Hey I was in a Hilton in Birmingham at my meetings this weekend and I got to watch the game. We seem to start out great or TA&M started out slow but they came on and just took over the court toward the end of the first half. We have got to have a couple more years before we will be enjoying BB cause it looked to me like we had one big guy in the middle that was doing the work. somebody tell me if I am wrong here? RTR!
