For three weeks Arkansas has been sleepwalking through its schedule under the pretense the team is working on fundamentals. I suppose that is partially true. But in the second half against Troy, the Razorbacks finally dropped the rouse. Their boredom caught up with them.

When the Razorbacks take the field against the Crimson Tide on Saturday it will have been exactly 364 days since a 24-20 loss and a late-game collapse doomed them to a less-than-perfect season. It will have been exactly one year to the day since the Razorbacks and Bobby Petrino circled this game on their calendar.

I can't see this much of a score. I think we win but maybe by 1-6 points. RTR!

I find my self agreeing with Ricky, which means that we probably both picked this game wrong in the Pickem competition.  Arkansas v. Bama is usually a close game, and 11.5 points is a big spread, but maybe the boys in Vegas know what they are talking about.

I think Bama will cover the points, but not because I think Bama is suddenly a whole lot better than they were on Saturday against North Texas.  We still have some issue to work through.  I am just skeptical that Arkansas is as good as they have been made out to be.  I think their year to beat us was last year, and they missed it.

Could be true with Mallet gone.  Bama's red zone offense needs work, which is why I think the spread will be tight.
