Title: "Alabama practice report: Top LBs switch spots" Post by: WALL-E on April 12, 2017, 04:53:02 PM Alabama practice report: Top LBs switch spots

Evans would later move back to his usual position when the back seven of the defense went through the motions in the nickel package. It should be noted that both Evans and Moses have the capability to play inside and outside. It's also conceivable Alabama is preparing Evans and Moses for the "nickel rabbits" package that the Tide used with great efficacy against Tennessee last season. In that set, former inside linebacker Reuben Foster was positioned as an edge rusher.... Good stuff. :popcorn2: Title: Re: "Alabama practice report: Top LBs switch spots" Post by: Jamos on April 13, 2017, 05:53:34 AM Quote Both Rashaan Evans and Dylan Moses, two inside linebackers, were working with the outside linebackers in individual drills. I had read an article that they liked his speed and were going to try him there this Spring. He was very quick but seemed to need more time learning to use his hands better but he looked very promising. I'd love to see Davis play this year; also Mack Wilson (if he promises to not kill anyone!). Title: Re: "Alabama practice report: Top LBs switch spots" Post by: Chechem on April 13, 2017, 03:26:08 PM Then Gary started his "helmet-to-helmet" rant, which is ONLY called when a player is defenseless. Otherwise, every LB tackling a running back running between the tackles would be flagged EVERY series.

If he could he would penalize us on every play. RTR! |
