Title: Late Rally Costs Alabama Softball in 3-2 Loss to Tennessee Saturday Post by: Jamos on April 16, 2017, 06:20:36 AM Alabama softball scored first against Tennessee Saturday in Knoxville, but a 2-0 lead was erased with two runs in the bottom of the sixth and a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh would ultimately give the Volunteers the 3-2 comeback victory.

The SEC is a much better conference this year from top to bottom than past years and losing a conference game is no disgrace but it sure hurts with the rankings and ratings that affect post season play. After a double to open the bottom of the 7th Osorio walked the next two batters to load the bases with no outs. The winning run was on base and in scoring position due to walks.
We are a dangerous team who can beat anyone. As Jamos said the bats need to wake up. They were leading Game Three of the UT series 3-1 when it started to rain. The game was called in the 4th inning. A game must reach 5 complete innings to count. Bottom line is we lost the series 2-0 and game 3 never happened.
