He'd like to go where he'd have a better opportunity to play, but McCarron isn't demanding a trade and is participating in Phase 1 of Cincinnati's offseason program, which is voluntary.

The best job in the NFL is back-up QB. He makes a very good salary and will not get hurt. He can have a long career and only a hand full of starts. Staying with Cincinnati is a good way to stay in the league and get in his time to earn a pension.

It is beyond me why the Texans did at least look into a trade for him. They have nothing down there.

I really think AJ could be a decent NFL QB. he has an Arm and looked capable when he got the chance a couple of years ago. Just didn't have the experience.

Well you know Andy will get hurt again this year and AJ will take over and drive the Bengals to another Championship Game. RTR!

He looked more than capable. He led the team to a win over the Steelers in the playoffs, or what should have been a win before Jeremy Hill fumbled and two Bengals defenders lost their minds.

I'm also surprised no team has tried to trade for him.  Or maybe they have and the Bengals' asking price was too high. I do hope he gets a chance someday.
