Title: Immediate D-Line Help for Tide?
Post by: Marshal Dillon on June 06, 2017, 11:01:18 PM
Sounds good, but big step from high school to SEC.

Quote
Ray and fellow highly-ranked freshman defensive lineman Phidarian Mathis will both be in the mix for immediate playing time along the Crimson Tide defensive line.

Quote
The 6-foot-4, 275-pound LaBryan Ray is the highest-ranked of Alabama's summer enrollees, rated as the No. 1 strong-side defensive end and No. 26 overall prospect in this year's recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Quote
Two of Ray's biggest current strengths, according to Rinks, are his wingspan and how advanced he is from a technique standpoint.

We lost a lot of talent and depth. We're going to need some of the young guys to contribute this year.

Yeah, that's my biggest concern, plus the linebackers, but we have some depth there.
