This was dum dum stupid. I reckon though when your out for self and not a team man it don't matter if you go out to bars and get shot. Now everybody will baby him and hope he stays. I am just sick to my stomach. Sorry but this is just plain wrong! RTR!

kick this thug to the curb..he's nothing but trouble from now on, and all of you bleeding hearts know it. If he was an innocent bystander at the least, why is he not cooperating with the police?   I say there's lots more to it.  CNS has got to get a handle on the thugs on the team..he knows who they are. I am getting tired of this kind of crap every year!!!

according to informed sources, this place is a bad place and should be shut down..why isn't it on the off limits list for the players?

 A week to go for possibly the biggest game of the season and his only concern is hanging with other thugs at a bar?  guess that shows where his team spirit is.

Very conflicting info on this, so far. Your link says he was outside a bar, hs coach link says he was at a gas station. Being outside a bar doesn't mean he's hanging with thugs. I still don't know who on the team is a thug and should be kicked off the team. Who else were you talking about?

There will be more facts -- official and unofficial -- that will come out on this incident.  I don't think CNS will back off from appropriate action once he knows the facts.

But to me, perhaps more importantly, this will be a test for the leadership on the team.  Is there any leadership??  We are about to find out.

How could R Davis play vs. FSU so soon after being shot in the leg?  Maybe he was just grazed or some such.

UPDATE -- Just read on another site that the bar was showing the Mayweather fight for $5 admission.  Could have been so crowded that RD couldn't get it and he was just trying to follow the fight news.

If he was at that bar just to watch the Mayweather/McGregor fight and was not involved in the situation that got him shot then let bygones be bygones.  He was a victim of circumstances of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.  Nothing to see here folks, let's keep moving along.  However, if it turns out that he did have something to do with the situation when he got shot then let Saban sort that out and go from there.  Kids today, and probably have been this way for many years, tend to NOT want to "snitch" on folks.  That may be why Davis didn't cooperate with police...
