Since MD included HS I will add that 6A #1 Austin put an old fashion azz whoppin' on cross town rival Decatur 49-0. The score is misleading. It was not that close.Starters out after 1 series in the 3rd quarter.

Looks like Austin is a real powerhouse this year.

They have reached the 6A semi-finals the last two years. Coach Perkins has the program in very good shape. We hired him from Hoover where he coached under Rush Propst, Josh Niblett and Jeremy Pruitt. Pretty good mentors on how to build a program.

I was worried when ND got the ball back with enough time for a final drive.
But their QB held the ball too long, was sacked, and fumbled.  Love it.  Kirby was dancing along the sidelines.

So was I. How many times has this scenario played out and the other team got that last second score. Glad for Kirby. Like to see him do well...except when that interferes with Bama.  ;)

Definitely enjoyed UGA beating Notre Dame more. Oklahoma over Ohio State really surprised me.
