Title: Bama Basketball Practice Begins Post by: Jamos on September 23, 2011, 07:57:07 PM I got an invite today, Tide Pride, to come to a special basketball practice October 26th, that includes a meal by Full Moon BBQ and CAG will speak after the practice. I don't remember this ever being done in basketball as to a meal and speach by the coach. I didn't attend much basketball during the Gottfried era, maybe somebody on the forum knows more about this. If it is a first, I think it is a great idea.
I'm also thinking about asking the REC if they could get CAG to speak at one of our meetings, it might help fill Coleman on a regular basis. Maybe they won't throw me out of the club for requesting something that's not football related. In addition to improving the quality of play he has gotten the fans excited. Basketball was full when Coleman was consistently sold out during the Wimp years. We should be fun to watch this year.
