the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas on Sunday still listed Alabama as a co-favorite with Oklahoma to win the national title, ESPN noted. The Tide and Oklahoma are 4-to-1 shots to win it all.

Interesting.

Don't be surprised if we're among the top-4 teams named tomorrow by the committee, but left off the final 4 after the conference games.  Just depends on the conference games, quality of play, and (of course) which team wins.

Our biggest problem is still that we'd be the 2nd SEC team in the playoffs.  Almost nobody outside this forum wants that.  :lol2:

I would not be surprised at all if the committee has us at number 4 this week.  But I hope they don't.  It doesn't change what will happen next week because those other teams would move ahead of us if they win.  I don't want them playing this week with extra motivation from being disrespected.  In fact I say make Oklahoma #1 and Wisconsin #2.  Give them both a good dose of rat poison.  :lol2:

You are right about getting a second SEC team in.  In fact, 2011 is exactly why we finally have a playoff now.  If it happens again this year, expect them to go to 8 teams soon.  :lol2:

Hey SC I believe that 8 teams is coming soon anyway. Money, some teams growling, and fans going nuts of the panel choices. RTR!

Ummm, no, they wouldn't.  I think the best we could hope for would be two teams.

I agree with you NALT. No way the committee would allow that many SEC teams in. RTR!
