Like I said, most of the people on this forum have better insight than some of these clowns.

I was a Clemson favorite to get a rivalry with Coach Sweeny but i don't think Clemson will leave the ACC now. Missouri is my next choice because of the West and move Auburn to the East. There seems to be a big following there (Missouri) so TV market might be good? My only other choice would be UNC? They have a great BB market and a fair football following. What say about any interest to UNC? RTR!

I would like to see VT join. I think they bring the most to the table.

VT to the east would be a nice complement to aTm to the west.

Tony Barnhart said before the Arkansas game that he expects the SEC to play 2012 with 13 teams. He also said 2013 we will have at least 14 members. Va Tech and FSU voted againt the $20 Million buyout clause to keep ACC members from leaving. Either of those teams would be an excellant choice for the SEC.

FSU board of Regents had a meeting a week ago Monday about realignment. Nothing I know of was released about the meeting. Gatorsports boards are talking about FSU being invited to join SEC.

VT would be my first choice.  FSU would be OK, but I would HATE having to listen to that cheer every time they played.

I think VT would be the best and most realistic choice.  I don't see the SEC going after Louisville, UNC wouldn't come.  NC State and Maryland make little sense.

I see L'Ville as a great fit. I'd rather not include a team that will be in the mix of teams competing for conference championships. Our schedule is tougher than any team in the country now. Their TV mkt is already captured by UK, but their mkt overlaps with the Indianapolis area too.

UNC is the backbone of the ACC. We are not actively recruiting, according to Mike Slive, so it would have to be them applying for membership. I don't see it.

Clemson, FSU, and GT bring no new recruiting areas or TV mkt.

Va. Tech has said, or maybe just the Virginia media has said, they will go no where without UVA. I believe this to be based on Commonwealth law but cannot quote any particular statutes.

VT used up favors with the governor and othe politicians to get in the ACC. Not that long ago either.

I would like to see FSU in the SEC East. It would balance out the level of competition in the two divisions.  Plus with the Barn going over there, they would have to play FSU every year.

At least they fit geographically (unlike TAMU). Better football and traditions than L'ville. L'ville brings our basketball up and the Big East down, all in one swoop. FSU does that to the ACC in football.  I hate listening to that Tomahawk Chop crap the whole game. I vote no on FSU just for that.

Agreed, UNC would be great, but they won't leave the ACC's bb conference.  VT is likely, but I don't care for them much, despite the TV crowd they would bring with them.  FSU would be great; apparently UF won't have any part of it.

Yesterday on Finebaum the guest was Bobby Bowden.  He discussed the invitation from the SEC that FSU got a few years back.  FSU turned it down.  Not likely to happen again.  They also discussed the Boogers moving to the East.  We discussed it here, and I suggested "Far East", but that pissed off the Asians (and our members who reside there).  Sure, it would be typical of the Aubs to happily move to the East for the easier competition, then talk about their "tradition".

Hey welcome to CRS. I hope you find it to be your home for times to come. I am not sure if UNC comes to the East or not but as said it would add another state to the SEC. RTR!

In truth, I knew he had already posted his scores.  But in a gesture of faux-hospitality I suggested he post his scores.  It costs us nothing, but gives the appearance of welcoming.
