About 45 years ago I was playing tackle football on the Quad. I blocked a guy pretty hard, sending him slamming the ground and gashing his mouth. But I had broken a process off my vertebra, and bruised my kidney. All of this to tell you that the symptoms are 'bloody urine'. It can be a concern, because ruptured vessels to the kidney can be fatal. I trust CNS and Staff's opinion on this, no way would they risk a player's career.
