Post by: Chechem on September 28, 2011, 04:51:07 PM
Quote
TUSCALOOSA, Alabama - Third-ranked Alabama held its final media viewing Wednesday as it prepared for No. 12 Florida.

The Crimson Tide (4-0, 1-0) travels to Florida Field at 7 p.m. on Saturday to battle the Gators (4-0, 2-0) in search of its first win there since Shaun Alexander's four touchdown performance in 1999.

News of the day
* Running back Eddie Lacy went worked through practice drills during the media viewing period. Lacy has been slowed by a toe injury, but is expected to play at Florida.

What's hot
* Running back Dee Hart (knee) continues with rehabilitation from offseason knee surgery. Coach Nick Saban updated Hart's progress during Wednesday's SEC teleconference.

The grind
* The secondary worked on dime defense today with plenty of speed on the field.

On the mend
* Linebacker C.J. Mosley (elbow) was at practice during the media viewing period, but did not participate in drills.

Clearly, CJ is out for Saturday.  Nico may have to break apart the RBs by himself.
And the above-referenced "toe injury" of EL is worse than it sounds herein.  See the video of the Wednesday practice on the other thread.

Wow.  You should put that on its own thread.

Do it quickly.  Florida plays Bama, then LSU, so their #5 ranking may not last.

It says the team is staying in Ocala. I live in Lakeland, but I am staying in Ocala on the way to and from the game. I know they have a really tight schedule, but what do y'all think are the odds I could get a couple of autographs if I bump into them?

Roll Tide!

Welcome. Have an e-cred. Supercoach & the welcome wagon should be along soon for more. If you find out where they are staying and run into some of them, I'd say your chances are pretty good.

Welcome to the forum!  Have some e-creds.

I have no idea what the chances are for getting some autographs.  I guess it depends on how busy they are at the moment you bump into them and if they are running late.  If you bump into them the night before the game, your chances are probably good.  On game day, they might be a little pre-occupied.  JMHO.

Maybe I'll get fortunate and run into one of them! Thanks so much for the warm welcome SUPERCOACH and 2Stater! It feels good to participate rather than look on from the sidelines.

 God bless and Roll Tide!
