That, when giving crofab (anti venom) , higher does must be given to children than adults, because the venom is much more concentrated in the smaller container." It is one of the few, if not only, medications that is given in larger doses to children than adults.

Another thing about Crofab. It is one of the most expensive meds out there. There have been snake bite victims who's pharmacy bill alone was > $10K.
