I'm already tired of hearing about Ole Miss's Hymon.

Sexton is not in the starting lineup, but he is dressed and available for limited action.

Ole Miss up 14-9 at the first media timeout.

Ole Miss playing with a lot of energy. We're down 18-9 after 8 minutes of play.

Sexton is missing some of his explosion for sure, which is such a big part of his game, but he did just knock down a 3 to cap a nice 9-0 run for us.

Tied up 18-18.

We ended up going on an 18-0 run to take a 27-18 lead, now Ole Miss has charged back with a 14 point run to go back up 32-27 with about 2 1/2 min left in the opening half.

Check that, we finally broke the run to make it 32-29.

Rough last part of the half.  Down by ten, 41-31.

The wild swings continue.  We're at  43-42 (Ole Miss) with 16 minutes to go.  Bama has been playing with a lot more intensity so far this half.

Bama down by ten with 8 to go, 60-50.

We looked good playing with intensity early in the half but haven't maintained. The refs have once again been a thorn in our sides.

9 to 4 on the fouls this half, and Ole Miss is easily the more physical defense.  It's senseless.

E-cred to HL for the updates.  I was traveling last night, and listened to the 2nd half on the radio.  We never got close after halftime.  Hard to win on the road in the SEC.

I didn't watch the game.  Commentators said Bama doesn't spread the ball around as well with Sexton in the lineup, relying instead on him to make a play.  Don't know if that is true or now.   ???

I came to the same conclusion while he was out.

Yes, it was undeniable if you'd watched the team for most of the year.

One problem that I have noticed the few times I watched the Tide play this year is that they don't go after the offensive rebounds very hard.  Last night the starters only gathered in 5 ORB's while the bench managed to get 11.  The OM team got 25 defensive rebounds which means we only managed to get ~30% of the rebounds on the offensive end.  Now, I'm not sure what the national average is on ORB's but 30% seems horrible to me.  Thoughts?

I listened to the 2nd half coming from Roanoke last night and it sounded to me like the Tide would push the ball then stop instead of going to the rim and looking for heads. I am wondering, "Help Please" are a soft team? RTR!

key is not playing confident right now.  He is very hesitant in taking outside shots  I had hoped the game before this would have restored some confidence.
