Title: Weis' system developed by Ray Perkins
Post by: Jamos on September 29, 2011, 07:41:41 PM
When Will Muschamp was hired as the University of Florida's head football coach, he sought out a cutting-edge offensive guru to run the Gators' attack. Muschamp turned to former New England Patriots coordinator Charlie Weis at a price of $2.625 million over three years.

#+  Good article.  I bet Cam's playbook is not 4 inches thick.  4 Pages maybe.

I just wonder if it's the same playbook that Weis used when he was the head coach at Notre Dame.  ;)

It appears to be modified to account for Florida's main weapon, its speed, but the idea of running the same play from multiple formations seems intact.

Well first off @ ND: He did not have speed nor good coaches around him.
Second: a gigantic playbook does he have the brain power in his players to learn that much?
Third: The only hope I can find is kicking game and out run us. If win those 2 battles we will lose.
RTR!
