Butch was most likely brought in to watch endless hours of high school film, as player evaluations is considered one of his strong suits. I'm sure he'll also do some film breakdown of opponents when the season gets closer. With that said, Saban had rather have Hugh Freeze doing the job. Rumors have it that the SEC office suggested that not happen.
