It doesn't really matter since we play LSU in a month, but what are your predictions?

I think LSU keeps #1 but Bama closes the gap and passes OU.

If we played LSU next week I think we would beat them by 10.

In my opinion, Bama should jump OU.  OU has played a weak schedule.  The only team with any substance had their back up qb playing.  LSU should still be one because of their schedule.  Bama should come in at 2, but a very close 2.

I think LSU will keep #1, and they probably should.  Getting JJ back strengthens their team.  We need AJ to keep improving.  He has survived the tough start of the season.  Now we can coast a bit and work on things.  So far it's all perfect. 

I don't care if we're #2 or 3.  Less pressure than #1 and fewer young players with the fathead.  Keep working, playing hard, learning, behaving.  We'll get there.

We might pass OU but I'm not sure.    :think:

Yeah it doesn't matter, but it is fun to talk about.  OU needs to move down though, and Boise shouldn't even be in the poll IMO.

We are only 9 points behind them and they played Ball State today.  I think we will pass them.

What did you think about that first TD they scored tonight?  I figure they must have seen a weakness in Dre on film that they wanted to go after.  I wish I had seen the whole route.

I think if they are not going to jam the rec, then looking inside and seeing the safety is no help he should play an off man technique. 

Only threat left on BSU's schedule is a poor TCU team.

Watch Texas move 5 spots for that courageous win over unranked Iowa St.. Oklahoma may stay the same, therefore pumping up the TV ratings on the Texas v Oklahoma match-up in Dallas next Saturday. Between the 2 teams they have only played 1 quality opponent (Florida St.) which was untested and not at full strength. It's laughable to watch the expert predictions each week, down playing the SEC, and then see what actually transpires come Saturday.

I don't think we jump LSU. I expect us to be a solid # 2. Wisconsin with get a lot of love from the Big 10 Media after their win over Nebraska.

I wonder how good we'd be if our four best players hadn't opted early for the NFL. It boggles the imagination.

When you're #1 you're playing to keep from getting beat but when you aren't #1 you're playing with more intensity to try to get to #1. This will all be decided Nov. 5th. Roll Tide!!

Keep a close watch on those liberal, non-traditional voters. They feel themselves empowered to make social or "football political" statements with their vote. They are out to bring social justice to NCAA football, taking from the programs that have built success, while giving to the ones that think we should not be keeping score. What they failed to accomplish by Title IX, they hope to acheive through forced parity and redistribution of wealth.

I think it may have had something to do with Lester.  He was suckered towards the middle and did not give Dre any help over the top.

With the alignment Lester was in there is no way he could have helped.
