Here are the official game notes as Alabama defeats Florida in the Swamp. Alabama improves to 5-0 and Florida drops to 4-1. The notes include the latest on record-setting Trent Richardson and defensive leader Courtney Upshaw.

BEATING THE BEST: With the win over Florida, Alabama is 17-5 against the Associated Press Top 25 over the past three seasons and 9-3 against AP top 10 teams. Alabama went 5-3 against the AP Top 25 last season.

ALABAMA HAS SECOND MOST WINS SINCE 2008: With the win over Florida, Alabama has won 41 games dating back to the start of the 2008 season, which is the second-most in the Football Bowl Subdivision. The Crimson Tide won 12 games in 2008, followed that with a perfect 14-0 record in 2009 and a 10-3 mark in 2010. Alabama is one win back of Boise State, with 42 wins. The Tide has the most victories of any team that plays in a BCS conference.

ALABAMA CONTINUES ROAD SUCCESS: Alabama’s win over Florida continued a trend of road success by the Crimson Tide in recent seasons.

That is phenomenal given the difference in competition between the SEC opponents we play and the cupcakes they play.  This should be sent to every media nut that insists Boise is a good team.  I am going to go tweet it.
