For now, though, both remain in high school, and they got off to strong starts to 2018, at least statistically speaking, in Week 1 of Alabama's high school football season. On Friday, Tagovailoa threw for 385 yards and four touchdowns in a 38-7 victory over James Clemens in the AHSAA Champions Challenge at Montgomery's Cramton Bowl. He had 309 passing yards at halftime. On Saturday, Tyson completed 31-of-47 passes for 404 yards and four touchdowns in a 34-30 loss to Cedar Grove (Ga.) in a game televised by ESPN. Tyson drove the Huskies deep into Cedar Grove territory twice in the fourth quarter, but one drive ended in a blocked field goal and his fourth-down pass in the end zone fell incomplete to end the other.
