Kidding aside, we've heard this scenario for years.  It dates back numerous QBs, because we usually have just one QB, and an injury would end our season.  Fortunately we've never seen anyone go after our QBs knee.  Late hits, yes, but not out-and-out dirty hits on the Bama QB.

Anyhow, today's practice report says he's not practicing yet.  Tua is, as is Jeudy.  WHEW!

Tennessee is Tennessee, but I don’t think Jeremy Pruitt would be okay with his current players taking cheap shots at his former players. Tua likely gets us up 28-0 in the 1st quarter then sits the rest of the game.

I wouldn't expect Tua to sit after the 1st quarter.  I think he would play, regardless of the score well into the 2nd and possibly early into the 3rd quarters.  I would absolutely LOVE for SC to win the pick the score contest this week...  #+ #+ #+

Seriously, I don't think Saban has any interest in embarrassing Pruitt.  I expect us to play fast early, and if we get quickly ahead as we have lately let the air out of the ball with a methodical running game.  As long as we can run, hopefully Jalen will take the helm before halftime.  Tua may play the first series of the second half (unless we're ahead by 28 pts); otherwise as long as we're well ahead we'll see Jalen run left, right, and up the middle.

I agree that Pruitt won’t allow cheap shots on our guys. Let’s hope we saw the last of “Team Cheap Shots” when we played Mizzou last week.

I wasn't trying to imply that Pruitt would teach or allow his players to take cheap shots on Tua.  However, as you all know, there are players that will do such things without the coaches instructions/knowledge.  Raekwon is a prime example of this.  Now, I know that Raekwon was probably reacting to Mizzou players but some of the UT players could easily do some of the same or similar things this week... I certainly hope not for all involved...

We still have to play the Barn.

Well one thing for sure we will have to play 60 minutes and we have seen awbren have comebacks for out of the hat wins against us so I don't feel good till we are 50 points ahead. RTR!
