Title: Re: MVP was sick Post by: Chechem on December 02, 2018, 05:30:26 PM Josh Jacobs has improved more than most anyone on this team. He's going to make some NFL team really happy.
:popcorn2: Title: Re: MVP was sick Post by: 2Stater on December 02, 2018, 05:36:41 PM I'm happy for Josh, and I think he might have been voted MVP, because they knew he was sick and still performed at that level. Only reason I can think of that would put him over Jalen.

some of the guys I talked to last night said there were several players that had "flu like symptoms" Title: Re: MVP was sick Post by: bamaphil on December 02, 2018, 06:47:28 PM WTG Josh  some of the guys I talked to last night said there were several players that had "flu like symptoms" The team as a whole seemed off yesterday. I don’t know if there was a bug going around or if the mistakes created a snowball effect, but it was weird to watch a team that played so well all year play not well at all in the biggest game of the year. Agreed. I’m rewatching now, and Georgia played a nearly flawless game. We were fortunate to see Bama get out with a win. Only reason I can think of that would put him over Jalen. Scoring 2 td's, having a 59 yard run when we were down 21-7, & having 83 yards rushing in 8 carries didn't hurt, either.   Title: Re: MVP was sick Post by: ricky023 on December 03, 2018, 08:08:03 AM I am afriad to watch the replay I am afraid GA might slip by and win. I've seen prayer work before on what people say is trivial but the one I serve don't think my thoughts are trivial. On to Okla. RTR! I was praying for God's will to be done, win or lose. When I realized Jalen was coming in the game, I almost fell out right here in the living room. I recognized immediately what was about to happen. :lol2: Title: Re: MVP was sick Post by: Chechem on December 03, 2018, 04:04:14 PM How many other players had the flu?
https://www.secrant.com/rant/uga-sports/bama-players-flu-outbreak/80552162/ A Georgia message board reported it late last week (see link). Ironically, on the same link they hoped for a "high-ankle sprain". WOW. They got both and still lost! :lol2: Title: Re: MVP was sick Post by: 2Stater on December 04, 2018, 03:23:36 PM How many other players had the flu? https://www.secrant.com/rant/uga-sports/bama-players-flu-outbreak/80552162/ A Georgia message board reported it late last week (see link).
