I agree, and the University’s decision to let him coach this year leaves no one looking good. My gut says they told him at the beginning the year they’d suspend him then let him finish the season, but he’d be gone by the end of the year. They wanted a championship so badly they let an abuse enabler coach one more season rather than risk a wasted season. It is a top job and I’m sure they’ll get high level coach, but OSU is a cesspool of corruption. The trail of destruction has been obscured by a winning record, and that much of the destruction didn't come to light at UF until aftr he'd left. At tOSU it caught up with him. Still, I think a lot of this decision is due to legit health concerns. Per reports, the OSU President wanted to fire him after the wife abuse fiasco but the Trustees overruled him. I think this was part of a deal by everyone.
