Title: Can any one explain why Gracia is still the USCe QB? Post by: SeniorTSM on October 03, 2011, 10:14:27 AM This guy has had one game where he played really well, and that was against Bama....he must have been drunk.
To me the play calling and Garcia cost USCe the game Sat against the Barn. Jeffery could have beat Auburn by his self if they just would have thrown it to him, and garcia was missing wide open players. Still, Garcia is playing like someone who missed Spring ball and has a lot of rust. The East is up for grabs.

It makes no sense......... He was kicked off the team for showing up drunk for a meeting, so he missed a good bit of practice this Spring and Summer. I myself have Never been a fan of CSS, and think he has always been overrated, and a smart*ss too boot. I don't like him at all.
But, as I have said on this forum before, SC fans have no burning desire to win NC's..they just would like a pretty good team that has a chance to win every game, but are satisfied to win 8-9 games and go to a good bowl game. What would one expect? they have no winning tradition, have no clue about what it's like to have a first rate NC caliber team EVERY year. That is the culture here, and I believe CSS has bought into it, too. If any coach at BAMA had such an attitude, he'd be tarred and feathered, his house burnt down, his car torched, hung in effigy on the Quad, and his name would forever be tarnished, never to be spoken of except in hushed tones (like MP, Fran, Dubose). Steve Spurrier's calling a quarterback shuffle for No. 18 South Carolina with sophomore Connor Shaw replacing inconsistent senior Stephen Garcia. After hinting at the move since Saturday's 16-13 loss to Auburn, Spurrier made it official following Monday's practice.
