This is the final regular season week and all teams are playing out of region games. Austin plays today to have an extra day to prepare and scout the playoff opponent. They were beaten badly by #1 Thompson 54-20. A disappointing season for the Black Bears. They finished 7-4. A bad loss to unranked Bob Jones moved them from the #2 Region 4 spot to #4. A bid difference playing on the road at #! Region 3 (which is also overall 7A #1) to playing #3 Region 3 at home.
