For those who missed it last night, Houston v. Tulane started off the weekend in style.  Tulane came from behind in the  fourth quarter and took the lead.  Houston reclaimed the lead with less than a minute left.  On their final possession, Tulane ran a trick play, followed by a long TD pass to score the winning points with 3 seconds left.

And B57 is right, the Utah v USC game is tonight.  Don't be fooled by that Saturday deadline.

BIG NEWS!

Less than one minute into the game, and a 330-lb lineman smashes the USC starting QB.  He lay on the field, and with him goes USC's hope in this game.

I'm going back and forth between this game and the Braves. Imma stick with the Braves for now. They lead the Giants 6-0 going to the bottom of the 8th.

Utah gets 45 yards on a 3rd down picture-perfect pass, then the RB goes wide for the final 12 yards.

Neither team is showing much defense.
Three possessions, three TDs.
Looks like a track meet.

Boise and Air Force (on the puke-blue turf) are in a punting duel.

Then a field goal was blocked, but USC was off sides.

Boise again with fg.  Boise 10-7.

Air Force ran the clock on a drive just before the half, and failed on a trick play at the Boise 10.  After that they simply let the clock run to 3 seconds, then kicked a field goal for the tie.

USC won 30-23.

Utah had the ball all night (38 min to 21 for USC), had 500 yards of offense, but had 16 penalties for 120 yards.  Crazy refs called everything.

Penalties kill great teams that is why I fuss about them so much. RTR!

You had to see this game, Ricky.
The refs were unlike any ref team I've seen; eagerly calling everything.

I notice that every time I try to watch a PAC12 game.  Maybe they don't believe in letting the players play football?   ???

I watch on Hulu for $45/month.  If you just want ESPN channels, you could get Sling for $25/month.

Yes, that's my plan, cancel after football season.  No long term contract, first week is free.  The features are not as premium as cable/DTV, but it's tolerable for the price. 

Just not sure how much use I'll get out of the ACC, Big10, PAC12 or Longhorn networks.   :lol3:
