Mrs 2 decided she is going to the game after all. I just purchased our tickets. It's a 6 PM game. Should we all meet for lunch and then tailgate? Let's get this party started.

The Boogs play LSU in BR that day, prolly at 2:30.  We may end up eating and watching all afternoon!!

I may check into coming to that game.  I think my work schedule is clear that weekend.

I'll probably have to be at the stadium by 2:30 to start setting up our stand. If I don't have to work the store beforehand I should be able to make it work.

I'm trying to find a ticket.  Stubhub seems to want to sell me 2 tickets but all I want is one.  Anyone know of a site where I can just purchase one ticket?

Have you checked with Jamos? Also, check Craig's List.

They're always available at the stadium, especially this game.  I'd buy one there (and refuse to pay over the printed price).  You look like a cop, so no way they'd scalp you, NALT!

Tix for under face value should be an easy find before the game.

It's the second home game in a row. 
It's Arkansas.
It's a night game.
Even though it's Homecoming, I doubt that matters (not what it used to be).

There usually are extra tickets available to the University for homecoming.  Also, Arkansas likely did not sell their allotment.  There should be plenty of available tickets, buy at the stadium. 

I got a ticket so I'm planning to be in attendance.

My daughter is coming home for college next weekend, so I'm staying home.  You guys have fun, maybe next time.

She's been to several Bama games with me, but lost interest at some point in H.S.  I offered to take her and two of her friends to the Miss. State game last year (her senior year in H.S.) but she wasn't interested.  (The only time I got her to Tuscaloosa last year was to get her a car -- she had to drive it back to Huntsville.)

My "arrangements" involved camping at Deerlick Creek, bringing a kayak (or canoe), talking a friend into going, and spending a day or two kayaking Lake Nicol, Lake Harris, Hurricane Creek, maybe doing some fishing too....  It's what I ended up doing last year, after trading my 4 Ms. State tickets for 2 better tickets and some cash.

If we decide to meet at a restaurant, what are the chances of getting seated on game day??  I'd like to watch LSU bury the Boogs, but don't want to stand outside a restaurant for 2 hours.

Ok guys, we need a head count for Baumhower's tomorrow. We will be meeting there at noon, and with rain in the forecast all day, will probably camp there to watch most of the Auburn-LSU game.

I won’t be able to make it to Baumhower’s with everything going on at work. If anybody wants a chicken sandwich and some waffle potato chips I’ll be in the southwest corner of the upper deck during the game.

We had a good gathering at Baumhower's.  Re and Mrs RE joined me there at noon, then 2 and Mrs 2 joined us.  We ate waaaaaaay too much food, all good.  Then Jamos and Mrs jamos came in about 2PM with their daughter and her escort, and we all ate again.  Dessert was next, and we gave the server mucho tips.
