I've had several people ask me about making donations.  I am truly humbled that people would be willing to support this place with their hard earned money, especially in this economy.  I sincerely appreciate the offer.  However I don't feel comfortable accepting any donations right now.

I do have one google ad over in the corner.  I'm hoping it will eventually bring in just enough revenue so that the site breaks even.  I have no intention of plastering ads in every little corner, but I may work with the layout some more.  For example I might switch over to a skinny, tall ad so that the page is not quite as wide.  I think google will only allow you to have 3 ads on a page at most, and I wouldn't want any more than that either.  But for now I plan to just have the 1.  We'll see how it goes.

I also don't want any of those ads that play videos or make any kind of sounds at all.  The last couple of days over at the old place were really annoying with the ads.  People who browse the site at work at a cubicle can get in trouble if all of a sudden a really load commercial comes on their computer and disturbs everyone around them.  What makes it even worse is when you can't turn it off and you just have to close your web browser window.  I don't have a lot of control over the ads that google sends me, but I am pretty sure I can ban stuff like that.  If you guys see anything like that please let me know and I will try to work with google to get rid of it.
