Quote Jim Farmer, a former first-round pick in the 1987 NBA draft out of the University of Alabama, has been arrested on human trafficking charges. Farmer, who was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks and played for the Utah Jazz, Seattle SuperSonics, Philadelphia 76ers and Denver Nuggets across five seasons, was arrested as part of a sting set up by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation in which an undercover officer identified herself as a 16-year-old girl after Farmer responded to an adult escort ad, according to the Tennessean. I have a daughter, granddaughters, and numerous nieces and always worry about them being victimized in the back of my mind. It will drive you crazy if you think too much about it. The sad thing to me is that there are people that believe, and try to excuse the child sex abuse as being natural. They believe that they were born that way so that it should be ok.
