Title: Other New Years Bowls Post by: Catch Prothro on January 01, 2020, 03:47:25 PM Well I ended my Hulu subscription yesterday. The Bama game was on Network TV, and I figured I could watch the Championship game at a sports bar or friends house.
But then Sling offered me a free trial, through Jan 12 (trying to get me on the hook for the Championship game of course), So I have ESPN for 12 more days. Coming up today are the Rose Bowl, Oregon v. I cut the cord a year ago and have had Hulu, which is decent. I just cancelled because football season is over and they raised the price in January. YoutubeTV is supposedly the way to go, with unlimited video dvr, but I'll wait until August. Until then it's Prime and TV antenna. I wouldn't recommend Sling, unless you really just want ESPN. It's the cheapest way to get ESPN, ESPN2, etc. with their "Orange" package, but once you start adding features it gets more expensive. I’ve got to have WAPA the Puerto Rican channel so my wife can keep up with all the shenanigans going on there.
