Title: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: Catch Prothro on January 02, 2020, 03:42:08 PM This is the space for post New Years, pre Championship Bowl Games.
Today is the ever exciting Birmingham Bowl, delayed due to weather. BC v Cinn. No score Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: Catch Prothro on January 02, 2020, 04:03:35 PM Game is back on after a 92 minute delay. Near the end of the first quarter.
Apparently there will be an abbreviated, 10 minute halftime due because of the weather delay. 0-0 still, with Cincy driving. Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: Catch Prothro on January 02, 2020, 04:06:28 PM TD Cincy.
BC 0 Cincy 7 Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: Catch Prothro on January 02, 2020, 04:16:49 PM BC FG attempt, blocked by Cincy. Still 7-0 Cincy
Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: ricky023 on January 02, 2020, 04:37:59 PM We had to go to the VA Hospital Callahan Eye Clinic today and it rained so hard we saw 3 wrecks to were kind of large one was just one car but God got us through this. Guys it rained so hard at times we had to follow taillights to be able to see. If they had run off the run we would have also. Gosh it was so hard and coming home on I-20 we had lightning just outside of B'ham. RTR!
Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: N.AL-Tider on January 02, 2020, 04:38:08 PM Everything going wrong for BC. Fumbled, and lost a pass attempt. Cinci scored after that to take a 17-0 lead.

Looks like typical BC play this year. They lost to the best: Clemson, Notre Dame, ...... uh, never mind. ??? Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: Catch Prothro on January 02, 2020, 05:21:30 PM Cincy now up 24-0
Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: Chechem on January 02, 2020, 05:27:51 PM Cincy now up 24-0 "Your honor, I rest my case." Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: ricky023 on January 02, 2020, 05:30:11 PM I wonder who I took? RTR!
Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: Chechem on January 02, 2020, 05:36:42 PM Will the Tenn game still be on ESPN??
Haven't heard what they'll do as a result of the weather delay... :popcorn2: Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: Chechem on January 02, 2020, 05:38:44 PM I wonder who I took? RTR! Only NALT took BC. Well, those at the totem base took them too. :stars: Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: Catch Prothro on January 02, 2020, 07:59:10 PM I wonder who I took? RTR! Only NALT took BC. Well, those at the totem base took them too. :stars: They probably looked at ricky's picks and did the opposite. Indiana 3 TN 6 at Halftime. A game of FGs. Second half now starting on ESPN. Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: Catch Prothro on January 02, 2020, 08:17:09 PM Indiana got a TD, followed quickly by a Pick6.
Indiana 16 TN 6 Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: Chechem on January 02, 2020, 08:21:36 PM Indiana got a TD, followed quickly by a Pick6. Indiana 16 TN 6 And they've got our "DOINK" kicker for extra points! :lol2: Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: Catch Prothro on January 02, 2020, 08:34:29 PM It's hard not to root for Indiana in this game. You see a white and crimson jersey, with a crimson helmet, scoring against a pumpkin puke orange team, and you automatically root for crimson. Especially if you don't look too closely at Indiana's stupid helmet stripe or "Indiana" blazoned across the chest.
Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: Catch Prothro on January 02, 2020, 08:35:57 PM TN and IN trade FGs again.
TN 9 IN 19 Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: Chechem on January 02, 2020, 09:21:22 PM Tenn 23 Indy 22 3:51 left
Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: Catch Prothro on January 02, 2020, 09:22:43 PM Tenn 23 Indy 22 3:51 left da#@ Indiana missed a PAT earlier in the gam, so TN might win but not cover now. :facepalm:Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: Chechem on January 02, 2020, 09:24:17 PM Tenn 23 Indy 22 3:51 left da#@ Indiana missed a PAT earlier in the gam, so TN might win but not cover now. :facepalm:ORANGE :yuck: (https://67.media.tumblr.com/28fbe49824750ed20644326095e3d16a/tumblr_mnxg2fhpgz1su6g84o1_400.gif) Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: Catch Prothro on January 02, 2020, 09:28:18 PM Tenn 23 Indy 22 3:51 left da#@ Indiana missed a PAT earlier in the gam, so TN might win but not cover now. :facepalm:ORANGE :yuck: (https://67.media.tumblr.com/28fbe49824750ed20644326095e3d16a/tumblr_mnxg2fhpgz1su6g84o1_400.gif) So why is TN calling a timeout to freeze the kicker? There's still 2:32 left in the game, TN might need those T.Os. :-\ Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: Catch Prothro on January 02, 2020, 09:30:03 PM IN misses. They still have T.Os. So maybe TN might score again? Unlikely. :dunno:
Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: Catch Prothro on January 02, 2020, 09:39:40 PM And TN can't even cover a 1 1/2 point spread. :wall:
Heck, they can't even get a first down Indiana driving. Title: Re: Pre-Championship Bowls Post by: Chechem on January 02, 2020, 09:43:57 PM Tennessee (and the SEC) wins: 23-22!
