Big jump from college to NFL especially for QBs. Would it have been good for Mac to 'observe' a few games before being thrown in to the starting role? I would have thought so. But Belichick knows more than I do, so we'll see. Just hope that if Mac struggles for a few games it won't damage his confidence or the team's confidence in him.
